ChantCamp2017
Children ages 8 and up are invited to attend a free Gregorian Chant and Music Camp here at Saint John XXIII. Mrs. Sharon Burchill will teach chant notation and reading, vocal technique, and musicianship. There will also be games and prizes during the camp. It will run from August 16-18, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in the Archives Room under Saint Boniface Church. The camp is open to all current and new members of both the Pueri Cantorum (Children’s Choir) and High School Schola. This is a great chance to get in some “pre-season training” before rehearsals resume in the fall. For more information or to register, please email Mrs. Burchill at orotuna@yahoo.com.
Also:

  • Next Tuesday, August 15, is the Feast of the Assumption, a Holyday of Obligation. Masses will be at 9 AM and 7 PM.
