POST DECEM ANNOS

A History of the Tridentine Mass in the Diocese of Pittsburgh

on the Celebration of the Tenth Anniversary

of the Implementation of Ecclesia Dei

by Bishop Donald Wuerl on June 11, 1989

In June of 1999, the Latin Mass Community at St. Boniface Church of Holy Wisdom Parish in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA celebrated a happy milestone - the tenth anniversary of Bishop Donald Wuerl's implementation of the Ecclesia Dei indult.

For that anniversary, the following history booklet was produced. Post Decem Annos ("After Ten Years") briefly recounts the growth of the Traditional Latin Mass Community in Pittsburgh during the previous decade, as well as the history of the local struggle to preserve the Old Latin Mass in the years between 1970 and 1988.
