Christ the King, All Saints, All Souls

On Sunday, October 30, the Feast of Christ the King, following the 11 AM High Mass there will be a procession with the Blessed Sacrament in the Church, and after the procession, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar until 3 PM. At that time we will have benediction and reposition of the Blessed Sacrament. During the hours of Exposition, refreshments will be available in Norbert Hall, which will be open for those who may want to bring a lunch and stay the afternoon.

Procession, Feast of Christ the King, 2016

Tuesday, November 1 is All Saints’ Day, a holyday of obligation. Masses will be offered both at 9 AM and 7 PM. The celebrant of the evening High Mass will be Father Jonathan Romanoski, FSSP. Following Mass, there will be a reception for Father Romanoski in the Archives Room. Light refreshments will be available. If you plan on attending, and would like to bring something to share (e.g. cookies, cheese/crackers, vegetable tray, &c.), that would be most appreciated.

Wednesday, November 2 is All Souls’ Day, with Masses at 9 AM and 7 PM*.  A plenary indulgence, applicable only to the Poor Souls, is granted to those who visit any parish or public oratory on All Souls’ Day and there recite one Our Father and one Credo.

*In addition, Father Romanoski will be offering three All Souls’ Masses seriatim beginning at 11 AM at St. Anthony’s Chapel, Troy Hill.
